FREAKIN FINALY - BEYOND THE GRAVE 35 - SKYPECAST

Ok like i posted before, these episodes where the biggest pain in the ass to edit and release, mainly my computer program giving me crap. But i finally cleared that hurdle to bring you the new Episode of Beyond The Grave.

Since our studio is being "remodeled" We had to some how come up with a way to keep these Episodes coming out. So I (Joey) decided to record over Skype. Skype is basically a way for us to talk to each other over the internet in a chatroom like atmosphere. All we needed to do is record the conversation & vuala'. You now have Beyond The Grave Episode 35.

In this episode we do some small movie reviews about Paranormal Activity, Where the Wild Things Are, And Zombie Land. We also talk about our (PAST) plans for Halloween, and new things on the horizon for Zombie House and James band Red Castle Army. So sit back relax, and try your hardest not to be offended by the all NEW BEYOND THE GRAVE.

Joey from Zombie House here to explain why there hasn't been a damn podcast in two weeks. Well first off I'm very sorry, i have never had so much F'n trouble editing a podcast until these last two episodes fell in my lap. Mainly because we decided to try the "Over the Internet" route and that seemed to work pretty good until i started editing it.

First episode we owe you there was really bad problems with James audio and my audio. That is mostly fixed and our new episode had a similar problem. I held out till today to release so i can hook you guys up with a two for one type of deal then the worst happend. Every time i tried to export the damn audio this morning i kept getting errors.

So now im here at work and i have no podcasts :( Yes... i suck again. So i just wanted to give everyone a heads up that i will try to release it soon. But tomorrow being Halloween and me and James still having to buy a damn costume, there might not be any time till Sunday. Follow me and James on Twitter to get updates on its progress. Beyond The Grave Some Time This Weekend.

This Week we weren't able to get into the studio to record a new episode of Beyond The Grave. But dammit we're going to get one out this weekend if it kills us.

The route we decided to take is using Skype over the internet to Record this weeks session. It worked pretty damn good, except for one audio problem with James portion of the show. So Yes we recorded a New Episode, but i need time to correct the audio problem i had with James file.

So Stay tuned this weekend for an update on the new Episode. Latest it will come out is on Monday, and if it does, then think how awesome it will be to listen to a NEW episode on Monday and another on Friday. :)

1 Year and 3 Months Later, Beyond The Grave Is Back

UPDATE FOR THURSDAY 8/15/09 - Today i was supposed to release the new episode of Beyond The Grave, but unfortunately i ran into a snag with the audio. Since currently I'm at work and will be busy after work I wont be able to fix it till tomorrow morning. So just like the old days Beyond The Grave will come out on Friday. Sorry for the inconvenience.... like you guys cared any ways haha.

Last night over dinner, me (Joey Zambrano) and James Cruz, decided to relaunch the old Beyond The Grave Podcast. I mean it has been over a year and our website stats tell us that there are still people tuning in. So we ran straight to our friends studio and started recording Episode 33 (after 45 min of trying to figure out how to set everything up. Once we did figure it out, me, James, and our pal Justin knocked out a new episode.

So with that said, YES Beyond The Grave will be coming back to its weekly Schedule. Hopefully some of the Old Gang will be able to come back and join us for future episodes, and NO the formula wont change for the most part.

Also just a small "WARNING" about the upcoming Episode. We're a little rusty at recording, so bare with us. I personally thought it came out pretty good, but i think we also are a little bit more Uncensored in this one then we usually are. So this is a HUGE HUGE WARNING... we might offend some of you:P In a fun way.. :) So stay tuned on Wed or Thurs for the release of Episode 33 of Beyond The Grave.

BEYOND THE GRAVE PODCAST NEWS AND OTHER UPDATES.

If your reading this , than you are among our few true loyal fans, and we thank you for sticking around. Few things we want to go over, first off we have noticed that alot of people out there are stumbling upon the BEYOND THE GRAVE Podcast. That alone is soooo awesome that you guys are interested in what we have to say, and with THAT said, Beyond the Grave is going to be making a come back very very soon. James and I (Joey) have been talking alot, and decided to start putting out a side podcast of our own, so we'll keep you guys posted on that once it comes to life.

Now updates with our involvement with D4D Entertainment. We are still recording live performances for D4D and have concert footage just piling up on our end. With each of us going through our own things, it's hard for us to scrounge around enough money to fix our computers and get a good editing station going. Thankfully, James is currently going through the steps in upgrading his PC and will be editing D4D footage ASAP. Currently we pulled in a favor with a friend to help upload some tapes for us so we can at least have footage ready to go. So please, especially all of those bands we have filmed, be patient and your video's will emerge.

Also later this year, we will be doing some cleaning up of the site. Alot of old stuff piles up when your not doing projects like we haven't been, so hopefully this year all that will change. Today i will be meeting up with James about the future of one of Zombie House's popular projects, "Guitar Lessons From The Can", so I will be posting an update on whether or not James will continue that project. Again, thanks for all of your guys' support, and please stick around for more exiting things.

And 4 Months Later...... We got some activity.

First and foremost, Zombie House is still alive and breathing. We just took our annual few month break, cause we kinda hit a creative wall. But recently we've been regrouping and are finally bringing some new shit to the table.

First of all we completed shooting a New Horror Short that will hopefully see the light of day once some editing hurdles can be cleared. And we haven't forgot about our little blue friend P.J. Mcgee, as he will once again come out with some new material, just as soon as the voice actor gets over his cold.

But once again Zombie House is dipping there toes in some familiar waters, live music. Since two vital members (James Cruz, Armando Jimenez) are apart of the local band Red Castle Army Zombie House is getting back on board to support local music. If any old school followers remember, we used to follow the local music scene and did alot of video work for various bands. Well were back in that business with our new awesome friends. D4D Entertainment from Fresno Ca.

Yes, it happened again, another late podcast. This time it wasn't my fault i swear. This past couple of weeks I've been editing the podcast on my breaks at work and usually upload/download the files via ftp. Well this past week my Job decided to get strict with internet usage, and i basically couldn't upload the final podcast on Friday.

So I'm going to have to take my trusty thumb drive to retrieve to podcast and upload it through another source. Again, sorry for being so professional (sarcasm), but i promise a podcast this Monday.

P.S.- This might be our last Podcast for a while, keyword "MIGHT", not sure, but we are going to be really busy with filming a lot of projects, so we'll keep everyone posted.

The Subscribers Just Keep On Coming.

First off let me give credit to where credits due, Our very own James Cruz had an idea about teaching people how to play guitar in a very comical matter, but at the same time being very serious about the actual teachings. So he came up with Guitar Lessons From the Can. At this point we had a pre-existing You Tube Account for Zombie House with all of our shorts and other projects on it, and we were not getting alot of hits, i mean come on.... who the hell is Zombie House?

So with that said, James Green Lighted Guitar Lessons and almost like a wild fire, it started grabbing peoples attention. It was genius, lets geat viewers attention by teaching them famous songs and there for introduce them to our other Zombie House Projects. It worked like a charm, and slowley Zombie House is becoming a known entity amongst the You Tube Community. As of the time i'm writting this we are up to 156 Subscribers. Before the Lessons we had around 10 to 15 subscribers only, if that.

So again, big props to James for Getting us a bigger and broader audience. They came to learn some songs, and they stumbled upon the crazy world of Zombie House, we hope you guys enjoy your stay, and pass on the word.

Our name Zombie House came to be from the term "Zombie Hip Hop" found in the sleeve of a Gorillaz Album. We later discussed other Genres of Music with the word Zombie In front of it , and if it would sound just as cool.

There was Zombie Rap, Zombie Rock, and Zombie Techno, and ZH's own Ruben Cruz Said, what about Zombie House. We all basically just thought it sounded pretty snazzy, and once it came down to giving our Production Crew a name, it sounded like a right fit.

Oh my god, it never fails with me. So far everything that can go wrong, basically went wrong for this weekend. Ok, so you guys read the article about my computer exploding, ok Joe, shit happens so fix it.

So come Sunday i get the parts i need for my computer then upload the podcast... great job Joe. Now come Monday i find out the podcast did not upload all the way, and at some point the connection dropped during the uploading process.

Joey here. First off i wanna say good job to James and Armando for getting out the new guitar lesson and Pj short out this week, it was a big hit for the fans of the two and also new content for the site which is always a plus. But unfortunately, being its podcast Friday, there will be no podcast, because i literally broke my computer yesterday.

So basically i had my pc connected to this very old cheap power adapter, and some wires got moved , and there was alot of popping sounds , and then boom, my power supply is smoking and my computer wouldn't turn on. I swear i have no luck what so ever when it comes to my computer considering i spilled a cup of water on the monitor a few weeks prior.

But fear not loyal fans of beyond the grave, i will be buying replacement parts today and hopefully be able to retrieve the lost episode by sat or sun. So keep an eye out for episode 24 of Beyond the Grave, and please don't hate me too much. Guitar Lessons from the Can - Killers by Iron Maiden

This is a very special episode for two reasons. First reason is because this is the first requested video I got, meaning that a few people asked for this song to be in a lesson. The second being that I brought in my brother to play second guitar on this lesson, which is pretty cool, because now you viewers can pick and choose what guitar parts you actually want to play. With that said the lesson gets very hectic at times due to, very limited room on the screen; I have to fit 2 guitarist and tabs! So my pointer for this video will be, to pause and take your time if you get confused during the lesson. The lesson gets very hectic during the solos, so I highlighted the tabs with a red tint for the guitarist that is soloing. To help you the viewers and guitarist not get too overwhelmed with the cluttered lesson. On last note I would like to apologize for the video being so late! Things were out of my hands for about a month, and then got tossed back in to mine several days ago, and I got it up now for you guys to enjoy! It gets pretty noisy at times, so please pardon that and remember I am playing out of the toilet! Lastly I would like to apologize about the glitchy and jerking camera movement, it's a reoccurring problem in all the lessons and I am looking into how to make play a lot smoother. Yesterday the world has lost an extremely talented actor and more importantly a wonderful and compassionate human being. We here at Zombie House are very sad to announce the passing of Jim Padgett. We are proud to have been given the privilege of working with Jim Padgett on the movie set of Zombie Meth Freaks.

Jim was one of the most talented actors we had ever worked with. Never have we seen someone take charge of a character in the way Jim Padgett did as an actor, and that is one of many reasons why he will be remembered and missed.

He was so kind and warm hearted to us and everyone around him. He had such a humble and welcoming personality that we grew very attached to in the several months of working with him. Jim was a joy on and off the set and will forever be in our hearts.

We send our condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Jim Padgett. We will miss you dearly Jim, and it was an honor to become one of your many friends. Thank you for everything Mr. Padgett.

Zombie House meets Power Ranger Villain

Today, James Cruz and Christian Espinoza of Zombie House productions were in a meeting most of the day with Todd Wolfe and Kerrigan Mahan, to discuss the development of the Wolfe Manor television show. We cannot say much about what was discussed because the show is still shrouded in mystery. But what we can reveal is, that there were a lot of exciting things discussed, such as NEW DISCOVERIES on the Wolfe Manor property and that Zombie House will be heavily involved with the filming process of the television show! On the other hand it was very cool to meet Kerrigan Mahan because he has done a lot of voice acting in Hollywood! He has done voices for Family Guy, Robotech and he played the evil villain in The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, known as GOLDAR! That was really cool getting to meet him, because most of us were pretty young when that show first aired and we are well familiar with the character!

We managed to get two interviews from Rickey Byrd of Hectic Films who was one of the directors at the shoot and DT Carney of Gallows Hills who played a vampire in the short. ABC 23 did an article on the film shoot and Zombie House got a mention which was cool. The article and video can be seen HERE.

New Movie and Podcast

Alright folks we uploaded our newest movie, Malevolence. We hope you enjoy it and would love to hear feedback. We have also uploaded another Beyond the Grave Podcast along with a link to subscribe to us in iTunes.

Zombie-House.com updates

Ok so we have made a few changes and upgrades to the Zombie House Website. First off we have added a new cleaner, spamless message board. We hope that many of you that were members of the old message board will sign up to this new one and hopefully we'll get new faces in there as well. The next big change that we made is that we each will now have our own personal blogs that are linked from the Journal page. This way you can get to know us and our personalities. We have also added a phone number in the contacts page which enables you to call and leave a voice message so we can then return your call or if you'd like you could just leave us a comment. The last update we made is we added a new member that goes by the name of Christian Espinoza. Hopefully with this new addition we can become better organized to create films on a regular basis.
